EA does not use the name “FC Mobile 27”. That label comes from players and media shortening “27 Season Update”.
What the new season adds
Game Plans lets you change formation during a match. EA describes it as lifting matches to a more strategic level, and detailed it in a deep dive published on 22 September 2026.
Gauntlet Mode and new PlayStyles were tested in a limited beta that ran from 25 August to 13 September 2026.
Ongoing league updates continue as well. Liga BBVA MX arrived in FC Mobile in July 2026, and the 2026 MLS season is covered through an Apple TV partnership with live matches on FCM TV.
All of this runs on its own schedule, separate from console FC 27 updates.

The mobile The World’s Game Tournament offers more than 50 licensed national teams, a customisable tournament flow, broadcast moments and a dedicated stadium. If you want short-format international football, it is the closest official option.
How to reach the 27 season
Update EA SPORTS FC Mobile through your app store. The season update ships with the client version.
Two things are worth doing before you update:
Claim your current season rewards. Unclaimed rewards can expire around a season change.
Confirm your account. If you play on more than one device, make sure you are signed into the same account.
EA has not published detailed carry-over rules between seasons, so check in-game announcements for the specifics.
Does mobile have Career Mode
This is a common community question. EA’s current FC Mobile material highlights The World’s Game Tournament, Quick Match and Game Plans. Career Mode is not listed as a mobile feature.
