EA SPORTS FC 27 Teams and Leagues: 21,000 Players, 35+ Leagues
FC 27 licenses 21,000+ players, 800+ clubs and national teams, 140 stadiums and 35+ leagues. Liga MX returns while three Italian clubs stay renamed.
EA lists more than 21,000 licensed players, over 800 clubs and national teams, 140 stadiums and more than 35 leagues, backed by over 300 football partners.
Two changes stand out this year. Liga MX returns with all 18 clubs fully licensed, and Lazio is fully licensed again.
There is a downside too. Inter Milan, AC Milan and Atalanta still appear under different names because of licensing restrictions.

Additional confirmed leagues include Liga Portugal, the Belgium Pro League, Eredivisie, Argentina’s Liga Profesional, the Roshn Saudi League, K League, Chinese Super League, A-League and Ekstraklasa.
Which competitions are exclusive
FC 27 gathers these into one game:
- UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League
- UEFA Super Cup and UEFA Women’s Champions League
South America is covered by CONMEBOL Libertadores, Sudamericana and Recopa.
All of them use authentic branding and dedicated commentary presentation.
What returned or was added this year
New: Liga BBVA MX appears in an EA SPORTS FC game for the first time, and in an EA football title for the first time since FIFA 22. The Polish Army Stadium, home of Legia Warsaw, also debuts.
Returning: Lazio is fully licensed for the first time since FIFA 22. Stade Louis II, home of AS Monaco, returns. Estadio Carlos Tartiere, home of Real Oviedo, joins.
Rebuilt: Emirates Stadium and MHPArena were reconstructed, and Bahia and Botafogo appeared in the reveal trailer.
The clubs that stay renamed
Three Serie A clubs cannot use their real names or crests:

Players and matches are unaffected, but kits, crests and some branding differ.
New ICONs this year
New ICONs include:
- Christine Sinclair, Ellen White and Formiga
- Hege Riise, Tobin Heath and Yuki Nagasato
- Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Sergio Aguero, Pepe and Raphael Varane
Lucio and Yaya Toure were also promoted from FUT Heroes to ICONs.

Partner renewals and additions
The Bundesliga extended its partnership on 27 August 2026. Reports put the deal at seven years and around 250 million euros. The ROSHN Saudi League renewed for four years on 2 September. The Vietnam Football Federation signed in June 2026, bringing the national team into the game.
The AFC appointed EA SPORTS FC as an official licensed product of the 2027 Asian Cup on 7 May 2026.
How to check whether a club is in the game
EA does not publish a downloadable club list. It lists leagues only.
To confirm a specific club, search the in-game league lists, or check the competition’s official entry list and compare it against the game.
Keep one distinction in mind: a licensed league and a fully licensed club are two different levels, and club licences can change during a season.
