EA SPORTS FC 27 Editions and Prices: Which One to Buy
Standard costs US$69.99 and Ultimate US$99.99 on Steam. Compare every FC 27 edition by price, content and pre-order window.
Buy Standard if you only play Career Mode or local matches. Buy Ultimate if you mainly play Ultimate Team and want FC Points, an extra Evolution slot and ICON items.
The strongest tier, Ultimate Plus, is no longer available. EA sold it only between 23 July and 31 August 2026, and EA also states you cannot upgrade from Ultimate to Ultimate Plus.

The EA store page lists the base game as “from US$69.99”, with sales tax added where it applies. Other regions price in local currency, so check your own store before buying.
Belgium and Korea do not offer the Ultimate Edition, and FC Points cannot be purchased there either.
Which edition fits your playstyle
Career and offline only: take Standard. Its pre-order rewards include 3 ICONs or Heroes, a 5-star coach and a 5-star youth scout. All three land directly in Manager Career.
Ultimate Team first: take Ultimate. The 6,000 FC Points, the extra Evolution slot and the Season 1 Premium Pass all feed FUT, and they matter most in the first weeks.
FUT plus Career plus The Grounds: Ultimate gives the most value because its rewards span all three modes.
Already missed the early bird window: stop worrying about it. Ultimate Plus will not return.
How FC Points arrive and when they expire
FC Points are delivered in instalments rather than all at once.
Your first instalment arrives when you log in to Ultimate Team during early access. Later instalments land on the 15th of each following month.
Ultimate Edition buyers must complete the first claim step by 1 August 2027 to receive all 6,000 points. For Ultimate Plus the deadline is 1 June 2027.
Redeem after 26 September 2027 and you receive no FC Points at all. Pre-order content must be redeemed by 25 September 2027.
